The aerospace industry demands not only very high performance but also extremes of reliability and fault tolerance.  SR Drive^® technology, designed and developed by Switched Reluctance Drives Ltd (SRDL), can offer highly fault tolerant design, without recourse to redundant systems, as well as small size, high temperature operation and excellent servo performance.

Although this application area is still in its infancy, SRDL has experience in fuel pump systems, starter generators and secondary surface actuators and is actively involved with new developments in this area.
